Mé Féin

This month, Sixth Class have been learning all of the vocabulary and phrases associated with Mé Féin. They will get a copy of the phrases at the start of the month, and they will learn two phrases a week for homework. Here is September’s phrase sheet. These phrases are super important for speaking as Gaeilge. I have been really impressed with the effort Sixth Class have made so far!

Back to School!

Welcome back to school. Sixth class have been enjoying reading this September. We have been talking about the importance of reading every day and the benefits it has for the development of our vocabulary. It also helps us to switch off from our school work in the evenings and gives us a chance to unwind. We decided to take DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time outside during the hot weather. We also went to the downstairs library and chose new books for the week. Some students recommended books to their classmates, such as the ‘Murder Most Unladylike’ series. Keep up the good work, Sixth Class!
